Performance

The Grand Am GT's come well equipped with its 3400 Ram Air V6.  It  has plenty of power and drives beautifully, but the sound of the set up needed some improvement.  To elevate this need I installed a K&N MaxSpeed cone filter and modified the OEM Ram Air.  The new set up gives a great sound, and great looks.  I am in the process of building a much better set up that you can read about in the "For the future section", plus installing a Magnaflow exhaust.

The engine bay is home to a few nice modifications.  The Intake system utilizes the factory ram air set up by forcing the air directory into the inverted cone filter, and a few other little accessories to improve the response of the car.  The Red Top battery with the Stinger gold accessories was a great improvement in looks and for the stereo.  That Battery really lasts!  The rest is mostly dress up...
The picture to the left is of the exhaust cut out.  This allows me to open and close the exhaust while driving.  It is not used much at all since it never really worked from the day it was installed.  The product does not seal back correctly, and the warranty does not cover malfunctions.  But for show I have it  hooked back up.  Click the links below for sound clips, you may have to try the link a second time, since each clip should be 5seconds long.
